  • It's too hard to pick one, but I haven't seen Lupin mentioned yet. His character is also tragic yet hopeful. In his way, he's always there for Harry. I don't want to spoil anything so without going into detail, I'll just say his and Tonks' story affected me very strongly at the end.

  • What's a couple of points? He's still at the bottom of the leader board. It's very unfortunate, but that's what happens with injuries.

  • I just read some articles relating the lack of parasitic infections in developed countries correlating to the increase in autoimmune diseases. It's apparently a controversial theory but one that is being researched. Basically, parasitic infections in childhood help tune our immune systems.

  • I am very sad that AMC won't be there for me when I have the time to watch it again. I had watched from when I was a little kid in the 80's until early last year.

  • You are correct... mostly. Using fat as an energy source is what the body is supposed to do as a last resort. We do need insulin. We do need carbs. We just don't need the huge amount that is typically eaten.

  • Pizza could actually be fairly good for you if don't pile on the greasy meat and do as the article says and reduce the cheese. If we all ate veggie style, it wouldn't have the bad rep that it gets.

  • Um yeah.. Complex carbs (whole grains) would be the ones you want to eat. Simple carbs (white flour) would be the ones to cut out. I think fruit is a fairly simple carb but if you eat the skin and all has enough fiber and good vitamins to balance out the sugars, within reason.

  • It's all the people who cannot apply independent thought to their religions or their actions that are the problem. It doesn't matter what religion, race, or any other thing you can apply to the situation. It's the mob/herd mentality here and there that is stirring everything up.

  • @branxoz To you there is only one Holy book. How about looking around and considering other people's perspectives? Each religion has what they consider Holy. I haven't seen any evidence as to which one is the "right" religion.
